Danielle Mahoehney is an education program specialist at the University of Minnesota’s Institute on Community Integration where she provides training and technical assistance and supports research in the area of community living for people with disabilities. Danielle began her career as a direct support professional and has over a decade of experience in disability services and advocacy. Her background and expertise are primarily in the areas of employment, day supports, post-secondary transition, and workforce development. She has provided consultation to a number of service providers on planning for and implementing organizational change. Danielle earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame.
